That's right, Demetrics is one of the AtG kids. In fact, his mother just received the Single Mother of the Year Award. He is the Math Student of the Week at Brentwood High school. I am not sure if he is the student of the week for just his grade or the whole school, but we wanted to take a minute to honor him. Great job D…keep up the good work.
Thursday night we had a great turnout for the 5th Annual Dinner and Silent Auction. Once again, Famous Dave's hit a homerun with the food. Thanks also to Joe at the Musicians Hall of Fame who donated an autographed Fender Stratocaster signed by Ed King (from Lynyrd Skynyrd). He wrote "Still the best strat riff ever 'Sweet Home Alabama' Ed King" We annouced our awards for 2008.
